  • Alzheimer’s Family Services Center is affiliated with the Hoag Neurosciences Institute and our Medical Director, Teryn Clarke, M.D. is based at Hoag Hospital. We work closely with the Orange County Vital Aging Program launched by Hoag Hospital to raise awareness and improve understanding about the benefits of early detection and proper Alzheimer’s disease treatment.
  • Alzheimer’s Family Services Center’s offers two levels of individualized day services: Our New Connections Club is for individuals who have mild cognitive impairment or are in the early stages of Alzheimer’s and our Friendship Club is designed for participants with moderate to late stage dementia.
  • Alzheimer’s Family Services Center collaborates with our participants’ physicians to ensure we are providing the proper care, activities, and therapies to meet each individual’s needs.
  • Alzheimer’s Family Services Center provides care at a 1:5 staff-to-participant ratio to provide the intensity of care that individuals with dementia require.
  • Alzheimer’s Family Services Center partners with the UC Irvine Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders (UCI MIND) to maintain ready access to expert professionals and cutting-edge research.
