We are pleased to announce AFC’s Chief Executive Officer, Joanna Richardson-Jones, is a recipient of the 2020 Woman of Distinction Award given by the Surf City Auto Group Community Foundation.
Richardson-Jones’ vision and leadership of Alzheimer’s Family Center for the past seven years, her business acumen and tireless dedication to helping people with memory loss and their families are just a few reasons why she received this prestigious honor.
A recent example of why she truly is a Woman of Distinction occurred when the pandemic started one year ago, and AFC was forced to shut its doors. Richardson-Jones and her staff continued serving patients and their caregivers remotely via Zoom videoconferencing through our newly created “Center Without Walls.”
The award’s search committee sought out Huntington Beach business leaders “who have distinguished themselves in their business, field of expertise and community. The recipients of the Business Women of Distinction Award epitomizes the values for which our community stands and represents the best of who women are as business and community leaders.”
Congratulations, Joanna, on this well-deserved award! We are very fortunate to have you as our CEO!
