This is Part 2 in a series about caregiving and social isolation.…
We are pleased to announce we have reopened our Adult Day Health Care program on-site and are accepting new patients!
Caregivers receive respite from the demands of caregiving while knowing their loved one is having fun and being treated with compassion and respect at Alzheimer’s Family Center, Orange County’s only facility dedicated to the care of patients with memory loss.
Per California Department of Aging guidelines, all health and safety protocols are being strictly followed.
Our professional activities staff offers brain-engaging activities, lunch, and socialization for our patients. The varied schedule includes art projects, musical fun and history, chair exercise, trivia games, bingo and more. Nursing staff is also on-site to provide medical oversight for patient care and assist with physical and occupational therapies.
Our ZAP (Zoom Activities Program) and mental health counseling services for patients and caregivers will continue to be available remotely.
